they were great. i received the wrong shoes and they immediately responded and fixed the problem. now that i have the correct ones, they are very comfortable and i’m just waiting for it not to be 19 degrees out to wear them more.
First of all, these are gorgeous and unique. I often get complements. My favorite was when a younger child in the supermarket told me they loved my style. I felt fckn fabulous. At first, I was unsure. The big toe was pretty snug, and my toenail hurt. Few months later, they've stretched out as expected, and no ingrown toenails. I did take one star away because they're not as comfortable as I would have liked. They could be a little squishier in the sole. Also, the antimicrobial properties are dubious. Mine smell pretty bad after exercising in them, and that's never happened to me before. It smells kinda like rancid rubber. I don't want to wash them in the machine, because the heel support is already peeling off inside :(, but I'm going to try soaking them with oxy clean and see what happens.
I ordered a pair of shoes and socks (6 pairs of socks were about $50). I did not like them (both shoes and socks were tight on the ankle cutting off my circulation and leaving a mark, and the shoes didn't fit my food at the big toe) so I started a return. The process to get a return label took about 3 days, and it shows a refund for the shoes only. The socks were all packaged separately (each pair separate), so even if they accepted 5 of the 6 back, that would be ok. But they're not refunding them at all even though like I said I only opened 1 of the 6 (how am I supposed to try it on without opening it?). So I guess I'm getting a refund, minus $8 processing fee and minus $50 for socks I don't like and won't wear. So I guess if they fit you and you keep them that's great, but if you don't it sucks for you. $58 out of pocket to try on and return. Not ok.
